Bugs in the Backyard: A Tiny World

Nora plopped beside the tomato pots, bored by buzzing and crawling. Grandpa Sam handed her a magnifying glass. “Try looking smaller,” he said. Nora sighed, then peeked under a leaf. Something waved right at her.

Ari the ant stood on a crumb, antennae tapping. “Please do not sneeze,” he squeaked. Nora held still. Grandpa whispered, “Ants smell and speak with antennae.” Nora’s boredom shrank smaller than sand in her pocket.
