The full moon shone bright silver in the night sky. It looked like a giant glowing
ball. Luna sat on her branch and looked down. She fixed the blue bow on her
head. The night was quiet and still.
"It is time to go," Luna said to herself. She fluffed her feathers and stretched her
wings. The forest was waiting for her. She had a special plan for her friends. Luna
looked at the moon one last time. "I must find them now," she said.

Luna flew down to a hollow log on the ground. She landed softly on the wood.
"Wake up, Pip!" she called out softly. A tiny nose poked out of the dark log. Pip
the mouse rubbed his sleepy eyes. He fixed the red scarf around his neck.
"Is it time?" asked Pip with a yawn. "Yes, the moon is high," said Luna. Pip smiled
and stepped out of the log. "I am ready," said Pip. He looked up at Luna happily.
